NEW FULLY-ACCESSIBLE BATHROOM
This completely new bathroom was designed with both the caregiver and the client in mind.
All lighting was connected to a motion sensor, as was the faucet. The cabinet was designed to allow a wheelchair to comfortably approach the sink.
Grab bars, a staple in any bathroom were strategically installed and the toilet was installed to facilitate transfer from chair to throne.
The curbless shower made it easy to bring the wheelchair right into the stall.
Beautiful Carrera marble was used on both the floor and walls, with a penny tile on the floor to help drainage.

4. (right) All the cabinets were replaced wit new, crisp while laminate which is easier on the eyes. Where ever possible, drawers and pull-outs were used rather than basic shelving. All the hardware was replaced with pulls rather than knobs, and a soothing under-cabinet light (and a wide-spread penant above the peninsula) ensured that surfaces were illuminated and the cook never worked in their shadow.
This1980's townhouse litchen was renovated to make it more safe and acessible, and to give it a fresh update. ("BEFORE" denoted as "a".)
1 (left) A wall dividing the kitchen from the frnt door was removed to allow a greater visual connection as well as more natural light.
2 (left, lower) An open peninsula makes it easier for two people to work in this small kitchen.
3 (right) The corner units were carefully conceived to naximize storage and ease access of stored goods.
