A Architecture can cause all sorts of emotional outbursts. Striking designs can inspire, and they can awe. A well-designed space can cause excitement, or it can instill calm. Architectural design can induce deep thought, or it can leave a person feeling neither here nor there. Design can make us happy, or sad.

It is easy to be overtaken by the sight of wide open space, afforded by soaring cathedral ceilings, without giving a second thought to how we would decorate (or maintain) those inaccessible areas.
